We are an Australian manufacturer located right here in Sydney, Australia. We have been designing, manufacturing and installing heat pumps and chillers since 1989.

Over the past 30 years, we have seen many different heat pump and chiller brands come and go. We have seen the influx of imported systems. We have seen our competitors bring in truckloads of low-cost, non-conforming, and poor-quality units and simply flood the market. And yet our customers come back to us because they know that our units last, are economical to run and offer true long-term value for money.

Toyesi has been building heat pumps with amongst the highest COPs since the very beginning. With Heat Performance COPs ranging from 4 to over 8, giving our systems unbeatable performance year in year out. Also with our unique water balance kits & COP Gauges enable our customers to tweak water flow to maintain maximum performance all year round.

Although we are proudly Australian manufacturers and will always rate our units higher than imported systems. We cannot fulfil every niche.  This is where the Thermace and Platypus range of units fills the gaps.  The platypus range fills the low end, compact heater chillers and the all-in-one mini IC9000, and the Thermace offers unique products such as the Ice Shower system and ultra hot water systems.

Our ultimate goal is to provide the highest quality and most efficient systems for Australian companies and people. From small 1 HP units right up to over 400 kw systems.

Peter Savtchenko — Founder & Chief Engineer

For more than three decades, Peter has been the technical backbone of Toyesi. With deep expertise across Refrigeration, HVAC, water‑management systems, and thermal engineering, he has shaped the company’s design principles since the very first Toyesi heat pump was built in 1989.

Peter’s career spans:

  • Advanced design and application engineering in refrigeration and HVAC
  • End‑to‑end project delivery, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Integration of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Concept development and engineering innovation
  • 30+ years of practical, hands‑on industry experience

Today, Peter continues to guide product development, oversee engineering standards, and ensure every Toyesi system reflects the company’s commitment to reliability and longevity.

 

Production Team — Decades of Craftsmanship

Toyesi’s manufacturing team brings together more than 60 years of combined experience. Many of our technicians have been with the company for over a decade, contributing deep knowledge and consistency to every unit we build.

Their skill set includes:

  • Metal fabrication, chassis construction, and ducting
